Job summary

Angard Recruitment is seeking flexible (temporary) Post Person with Driving to support Royal Mail deliveries across local communities in the UK. You will drive a Royal Mail van, often walk routes, and maintain excellent customer service while handling items securely.

Shifts vary by day and time, with walking and outdoor activity expected. A full manual UK driving licence (up to six points) is required, plus the ability to pass a driving assessment on start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van, and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so you need to be flexible and a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van around your assigned area and deliver letters and parcels.
• Occasionally walk parts of the route on foot to complete deliveries and uphold service standards.
• Ensure safe, secure delivery and adhere to Royal Mail and Angard policies.
