Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers to serve communities in the United Kingdom. You will deliver letters and parcels, both by van and on foot, ensuring items reach their destinations reliably and safely.

Ideal candidates hold a full UK driving licence with limited points, are physically fit to walk long distances, and can adapt to varying shift patterns. Some roles involve delivering election materials and restricted items in line with standards.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary and require adaptability on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot across your route, providing exceptional service.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including election materials, in line with Royal Mail standards.
• Be the face of Royal Mail in your community and adapt to flexible working hours.
