Job summary

Step Teachers currently seek an Early Years Practitioner for day-to-day supply in Norwich. The role covers diverse nursery and school settings, focusing on support for children aged 0-5 within the EYFS framework.

You will contribute to planning, recording progress, and providing a warm, caring, and proactive presence across settings. DBS checks or Update Service registration are expected.

Qualifications

• Relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or 3) in Childcare or Early Years Education.
• Experience working with children in nursery or early years settings.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willing to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Support learning and development for children aged 0-5.
• Assist planning and delivering engaging EYFS activities.
• Promote a safe, nurturing learning environment.
• Observe and record progress, contribute to learning journals.
• Support personal care routines and hygiene.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support development.
• Maintain a clean, inclusive learning space.
