Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a proactive Cover Supervisor to support Doncaster secondary schools. You will deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage the classroom, and help students stay engaged in their learning.

This is a strong entry path into education for motivated individuals without a teaching qualification. You will gain hands-on experience, access free CPD and online training, and receive ongoing support from a dedicated education consultant.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials to classes across a range of subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a productive learning environment.
• Support students in completing set work and understanding instructions.
• Encourage participation, engagement, and positive attitudes towards learning.
• Monitor student welfare and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
• Promote inclusion and equal opportunities for all learners.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding lesson progress and student engagement.
