Job summary

Engage Education is recruiting for Cover Supervisors to support local Sevenoaks schools on a supply basis. You’ll cover planned and unplanned absences, set your weekly availability, and support pupils across different lessons and year groups.

We welcome applicants who have experience with young people, including youth workers or support workers. You’ll need to be personable, adaptable, and able to manage behaviour in a dynamic classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree
• Experience with young people is preferred
• Ability to adapt to different classrooms and situations

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils and ensure they complete set tasks
• Assist pupils when they have questions
• Follow the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies
• Collect completed work and hand to Head of Department
• Provide feedback on lessons and pupil progress
