Job summary

EdStaff Limited is recruiting enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support local schools in Warrington. You will inspire learners and deliver engaging cover lessons across the secondary curriculum.

We welcome graduates and those with cover supervisor experience. A current DBS check is required or can be undertaken prior to placement. Flexible day-to-day, short-term and long-term roles available.

Qualifications

• Confident in the classroom and able to use your own initiative.
• Flexible and able to adapt.
• Passionate about delivering fun and engaging lessons.
• Desire to make a difference within educational settings.
• Hold graduate qualification or have cover supervisor experience.
• Hold an up to date DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a full enhanced DBS check prior to placement.

Responsibilities

• Covering lessons across curriculum in secondary education
• Teaching work which is left by class teacher on a short or long term basis
• Upholding high levels of behaviour in class and following school behaviour and safety policies
• Having a high standards of professionalism in and around school and dressing appropriately
