Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Heswall and surrounding CH60 area. You will lead pre-planned lessons, deliver engaging content, and help maintain order to keep students on task.

Strong classroom management and communication are essential, with an enhanced DBS on Update Service preferred. Roles offer flexible day-to-day scheduling and weekly pay to fit your availability.

Qualifications

• Proven prior experience working directly with children or young people.
• High level of confidence in whole-class management and communication.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-planned lessons efficiently across various subjects during teacher absences.
• Deliver engaging educational content while keeping students focused and on-task.
• Maintain strong, positive behaviour management in line with school policies.
• Support student learning and foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Complete accurate attendance registers and report back to core teaching staff.
