Job summary

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Basingstoke is seeking a Band 6 Specialist Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialist to work autonomously with a caseload of complex patients, primarily in the community and within the acute hospital weekly rota.

You will provide symptom management, psychological and social support, and expert clinical input seven days a week, with access to specialist oversight to ensure high quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• UK registration with NMC is essential.
• Post-registration learning in palliative care is desirable.
• Experience with palliative care patients is essential.

Responsibilities

• Autonomous practitioner with a caseload of complex patients.
• Provide symptom management and psychosocial support in community and hospital settings.
• Work seven days a week as part of a multidisciplinary team.
