North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Specialist Palliative Care Nurse to join the Specialist Palliative Care team, working across East Cumbria in the community to deliver high-quality, person-centred care for patients and their families.

You will manage a clinical caseload with autonomy, developing specialist palliative care skills alongside CNSs, the Consultant in Palliative Medicine and the wider MDT, supporting compassionate care and education across hospital

Qualifikationen

• Registered Nurse (Level 1) with current professional registration.
• Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
• Post-registration qualification or demonstrable specialist development in palliative care or a relevant field.
• Demonstrable specialist knowledge of palliative and end-of-life care.

Aufgaben

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred specialist palliative care to patients and families across East Cumbria.
• Provide specialist advice and support with CNSs and the MDT.
• Contribute to assessment, management and review of patients and symptom control.
• Collaborate with hospital teams and community services to ensure safe, coordinated care.
• Educate, supervise or develop colleagues within the team.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with governance and standards.
