Job summary

Advance Housing and Support Ltd in Windsor is seeking a Female Casual Support Worker to assist customers with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. The role offers zero contracted hours with flexible coverage across weekdays and weekends, including sleep-ins, with a pay rate of £14.94 per hour inclusive of holiday pay.

Applicants should be local to Windsor and ready to work varied hours, including nights.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; the role values compassion and a willingness to help.
• Must be local to Windsor and able to work every other weekend.
• Must be literate and numerate in English; be able to follow a Support Plan and risk assessments.
• Willingness to achieve the Care Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required)
• Medication administration (if required)
• Support with preparing and cooking meals
• Support with attending medical appointments
• Support with social activities
• Support with independent skills
• Support with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry
• Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required
• Keeping up to date with your training
• Ensuring the premises are secure and safe during the night
• Supporting with meal times and food preparation (if required)
• Supporting with regular checks on the customer to ensure their safety
