Job summary

The City of Liverpool College in Liverpool seeks an experienced AM2 Assessor to deliver AM2/AM2S/AM2E assessments within the Sustainable Construction & Building Services department.

Role involves upholding NET standards, collaborating with a supportive team, and maintaining high-quality candidate experiences. Flexible working arrangements include ad-hoc, temporary, part-time or permanent roles for qualified professionals.

Qualifications

• AM2 Assessors qualification or willingness to gain within the first year.
• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2360 Part 1/2 certificates or equivalent.
• 5 yrs. relevant industry experience after NVQ Level 3.
• Knowledge of BS7671 18th Edition Regulations.
• Level 3 Certificate in Inspection, Testing and Certification (2391/2394/2395).
• JIB Gold Card.
• NET assessor qualification or willingness to train.
• IOSH Managing Safety qualification.
• Committed to Continuing Professional Development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver AM2/AM2S/AM2E assessments to required standards.
• Uphold NET standards and ensure high-quality candidate experience.
• Collaborate with fellow assessors and centre staff.
• Maintain centre quality and integrity.

Education

AM2 Assessors qualification

NVQ Level 3 installing and commissioning electrical systems

City and Guilds 2360 Part 1 and 2 certificates

BS7671 18th Edition Regulations

Level 3 Certificate in Inspection, Testing and Certification (2391/2394/2395)

JIB Gold Card

NET Assessor qualification

Verifier qualification or willingness to attain
