Mountain Healthcare Limited is recruiting for a Flexible Administrator/Crisis Worker at Oakwood Place SARC, Brentwood. The role supports victims of sexual assault and coordinates within a 24/7 rota, on a 24-hour shift pattern.

The position requires safeguarding knowledge, confidentiality, and post-qualification experience. A UK driving license and DBS vetting are essential; the role is based in Essex with an hourly rate of £13.45.

Qualifications

• Experience with safeguarding procedures and confidentiality policies.
• Minimum 3+ years post-qualification experience.
• Ability to perform administrative duties accurately and efficiently.
• Driving licence required for travel between SARC locations.
• Applicants must live within one hour’s drive of Brentwood (Essex SARC).
• Advanced DBS and Level 2 Police vetting will be required.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the first point of contact for service users and families.
• Handle administration and support activities for service users visiting the centre and collect forensic evidence as needed.
• Support the SARC Manager with day-to-day operations of the centre.
• Maintain high standard of DNA anticontamination controls between cases.
• Liaise with Police, NHSE, ISVA and Social Services; collaborate with wider stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• 1st point of contact for service users.
• Administration and support process of an service users and their family visiting the centre, including preparing the patient and assisting in the collecting of forensic evidence.
• Support the SARC Manager with day to day running of the centre.
• ensuring that a high standard of DNA anticontamination is maintained between forensic cases (cleaning).
• Assisting patients and liaising with other agencies regarding the management of the service user pathway.
• Assisting with preparation, service user support and acting as an advocate during their time at the SARC.
• Liaise closely with wider stakeholders such as Police, NHSE, ISVA and Social services.
• Be a key player within the SARC team and wider company network.

Essential Skills Required:

• Good IT skills.
• Experience working in a supportive or customer focused environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding Children and Adults
• Knowledge and understanding of Confidentiality
• Experience completing administrative duties.
• Because of the nature of the Sexual Offence Examiner, applications are invited from females only. This post has a genuine occupational qualification under the Sex Discrimination Act, Section 7(2)b and 7(2)e.
• Whilst the position may be based from one location, additional travel may be a requirement of the role across SARC's, therefore a UK driving license is required for this role and access to a vehicle.

About the Role

Location: Oakwood Place SARC, Brentwood Community Hospital, Essex.

Salary: £13.45 per hour (pro rata - £29,453.89 per annum, based on 42 hours per week)

Hours: 24 hours.

Working shifts on 24/7 rota. Flexible 7 day rota, 12 hours, 9am to 9pm.
