Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Core Subjects Tutor to support children across Poole with personalised 1:1 tuition in English, Maths and Science. You will deliver engaging sessions tailored to each learner's needs and monitor progress to inform next steps.

Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you’ll enjoy flexible hours starting in September and the chance for ongoing, long-term placements. DBS Update Service is desirable, travel within Poole may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting (tutoring, teaching, or related roles).
• Strong knowledge of one or more core subjects: English, Maths, or Science.
• Ability to deliver Engaging, personalised learning sessions.
• Willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS if needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition to learners across Poole.
• Support learners with diverse needs and adapt sessions accordingly.
• Track progress and provide feedback to learners and guardians.
