Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting a Workshop Shift Supervisor for the West Midlands Workshop on a permanent contract. You will lead a shift, supervise technicians, and ensure safe, efficient workshop operations with a focus on quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experienced leader with a history of managing a team of vehicle technicians.
• Fully qualified to Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent.
• Experience with a range of vehicles, including LCV/HGV.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations across a shift in line with production planning and control.
• Perform inspections, maintenance and repair procedures on vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain accurate work orders and vehicle documentation to meet legal requirements.
• Conduct weekly team meetings and safety briefings with the team.
• Ensure workshop safety and high standards of quality and efficiency.
