Job summary

Royal Mail in Warrington is seeking a Workshop Shift Supervisor to join the North West Hub on a permanent basis. You will lead a team of technicians in a busy workshop, ensure safety standards, and drive high quality repairs across a mixed fleet including LCVs and HGVs.

You’ll report to the Fleet Workshop Manager, manage daily workloads, and use the provided tools and PPE. A full UK manual license and commitment to flexible shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Lead and manage a team of technicians with strong H&S standards.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on vehicles.
• Use personal toolkit for routine heavy/light vehicle work.
• Maintain accurate work orders and vehicle documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly team meetings and shift huddles on site.
• Coordinate workshop activities to meet production planning.
• Perform vehicle inspections and repairs as needed.
• Manage stock control and ensure documentation compliance.
