Job summary

Royal Mail’s West Midlands Workshop is hiring a Workshop Shift Supervisor on a permanent contract. You will lead a team of vehicle technicians, drive safety standards and coordinate daily operations across rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of vehicle technicians with strong H&S knowledge.
• Fully qualified to an advanced level (Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent) with own toolkit.
• Experience on a wide range of vehicles (LCV/HGV).

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations and run Weekly Team Meetings and shift huddles.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repair on vehicles, trailers and equipment.
• Use your own toolkit for routine maintenance and repairs.
• Access specialist tooling and shared equipment in modern workshops.
• Manage stock control and complete work orders with required documentation.
