Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead operations at our Perth site. You will be responsible for delivering fleet performance, safety, and cost-effective maintenance across multiple workshops and mobile sites.

You will manage a dispersed team, engage with unions, coach staff, and drive continuous improvement while complying with ISO 9001 standards and safety policies. National travel within your area may be required.

Qualifications

• Advanced level IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle maintenance or equivalent.
• Proven leadership experience in dispersed maintenance operations.
• Experience delivering maintenance services across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Fleet performance and cost-effective maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and ISO 9001 standards.
• Engage with unions and provide coaching to Fleet Workshop teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimise workshop efficiency and forecasting.
• Manage local interfaces and coordinate across mobile sites under your control.
