Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Perth is recruiting an experienced Workshop Manager to lead fleet maintenance operations at our site. You will drive performance against safety, cost and quality metrics, while delivering cultural change and ISO 9001 compliance.

You will manage a dispersed workshop team, engage with stakeholders and trade unions, and ensure efficient planning and cost forecasting across multiple shifts and mobile sites within your area of responsibility.

Qualifications

• Qualified to advanced level (IMI Level 3) in light/heavy vehicle maintenance.
• Experienced in dispersed maintenance operations.
• Strong stakeholder and union liaison skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage compliance with safety policies and maintenance targets.
• Optimize Fleet Workshops to meet performance standards.
• Engage, communicate, and coach Fleet Workshop teams.
• Lead and develop teams to drive performance improvements.
