Qualifications

• UK Driving Licence is essential for occasional travel.
• Proven mechanical expertise in motor vehicle maintenance.
• Diagnostic proficiency to identify root causes of mechanical or electrical issues.
• Electrical skills to handle vehicle electrical repairs and tech installations.
• Experience with LGV equipment and minor repairs on HGV components.
• Strong safety awareness and knowledge of Safe Systems of Work.

Responsibilities

• Execute mechanical repairs including electrical work and defect repairs.
• Install and remove vehicle technology such as telematics and cameras.
• Perform periodic health checks on vans and assess refrigeration defects.
• Maintain site equipment and LGV components.
• Manage parts orders, stock control and FMS cost pages.
