Job summary

Ocado Logistics is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Technician to keep our delivery fleet safe and efficient. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose faults, and install or remove technology such as telematics and collision cameras.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence is essential.
• Proven mechanical maintenance experience in motor vehicles.
• Diagnostic fault-finding skills to identify root causes.
• Electrical repair capability including telematics and cameras.
• Experience with LGV equipment and safety standards.
• Familiarity with Safe Systems of Work and H&S requirements.
• Administrative accuracy for defect documents and records.
• Basic computer skills for parts ordering and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute mechanical repairs including electrical work, wheel changes and defect repairs.
• Install and remove telematics and collision cameras on vehicles.
• Conduct periodic vehicle health checks and assess refrigeration unit defects.
• Maintain site equipment, including LGV gear and delivery tools.
• Order spare parts, manage stock, and complete cost-related documentation.
