Job summary

Ocado Logistics is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Technician to keep the delivery fleet safe and efficient. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs, and install or remove advanced vehicle technology such as telematics and collision cameras.

You will conduct health checks, manage parts, and ensure documentation meets legal and company standards. A UK driving licence is essential and prior LGV experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• UK Driving Licence required.
• Proven mechanical expertise with vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Diagnostic fault‑finding skills to identify root causes.
• Electrical repair skills for vehicle systems including telematics.
• Experience with LGV equipment and minor repairs on heavy goods vehicle components.
• Familiarity with Safe Systems of Work and H&S requirements.
• Ability to manage defect documents in line with procedures.
• Proficient with basic IT tools for parts ordering and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on delivery fleet to meet safety standards.
• Install/remove vehicle technology like telematics and collision cameras.
• Conduct health checks and inspect refrigeration units prior to engineer calls.
• Order spare parts, manage stock, and complete FMS cost pages and invoices.
