Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ workshop experience with fleet or commercial vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic skills across multiple vehicle systems.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends.
• Experience in servicing, repairs and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing a fleet of converted vans, support vehicles and grey fleet vehicles.
• Conducting pre-MOT inspections and diagnostics on vehicles with known faults.
• Maintaining specialist equipment and telematics systems.
• Adhering to health and safety protocols and quality standards.
• Working within a rota covering early mornings, late evenings and weekends across 365 days.
• Utilizing technical expertise to accurately diagnose and resolve vehicle faults.

Duties as a Fleet Vehicle Technician Include:

• Servicing and repairing a fleet of converted vans, support vehicles, and grey fleet vehicles, including models such as Skoda Kodiak, Mercedes Vito, MAN TGE, VW Crafter, and Fiat Ducato
• Conducting pre-MOT inspections and diagnostics on vehicles with known faults
• Maintaining specialist equipment and telematics systems
• Adhering to health and safety protocols and ensuring quality standards
• Working within a rota covering early mornings, late evenings, and weekends across 365 days
• Utilizing technical expertise to accurately diagnose and resolve vehicle faults in a fast-paced environment
