United Utilities is seeking skilled Fleet Technicians and HGV Mechanics to maintain a diverse asset base including HGVs, vans, and EVs at the Trafford workshop. You will conduct inspections, perform repairs, and develop proactive maintenance plans to cut downtime and extend fleet life.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety compliance, and ongoing professional development through PDM, qualifications, and leadership coaching. Onsite, permanent, 48 hours/week.

Formación

• Time served apprentice with City and Guilds Level 3 in HGV maintenance and repair.
• Valid driving licence is required.
• Ability to learn to obtain a Class 1 HGV licence.

Responsabilidades

• Streamlined Fleet Maintenance: ensure timely and cost-effective upkeep of diverse vehicles.
• Operator Collaboration: work with operators for seamless maintenance and repairs.
• Lifecycle Management: commission and decommission vehicles to keep fleet ready.
• Compliance Mastery: maintain records and follow transport and safety regulations.
• Mentorship & Flexibility: support apprentices and adapt to varying demands.
