Job summary

As a Fleet Technician or HGV Mechanic, you will maintain a diverse range of vehicles and machinery, ensuring uptime and safety across the asset base.

You’ll conduct inspections, perform repairs, and help build proactive maintenance plans within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience using vehicle diagnostic equipment.
• Team working and organisational skills.
• Communication with customers and contractors.
• Knowledge of Transport and Health and Safety Legislation.
• Welding and fabrication skills (MIG) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of vehicles and machinery.
• Execute both standard and intricate repairs.
• Develop proactive maintenance plans to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with operators to ensure maintenance alignment.
• Maintain meticulous records to comply with transport and safety regulations.
