Job summary

Toyota Material Handling UK is seeking a highly organised Fleet Support Co-ordinator to backfill maternity leave. You will coordinate Sainsbury’s fleet movements, respond to queries, and support fleet planning, ensuring accurate cost allocation and timely deliveries.

The role demands strong MS Office skills, excellent communication, and a customer‑first mindset. You will work cross‑functionally with sales, transport, and fleet teams to maintain high service standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all Sainsbury’s short-term rental (STR) requirements and support fleet planning and day-to-day movements.
• Process incoming rental equipment requests in line with procedures.
• Liaise with sales and transport teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Work closely with Fleet Managers and Contract Managers to deliver fleet solutions.
• Manage fleet transfers and equipment movements across the Sainsbury’s network.
• Provide accurate rental quotations verbally and in writing.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
• Arrange equipment deliveries and collections with accurate cost allocation.
• Produce and maintain accurate fleet records, reports and invoices.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a strong customer‑first approach in all activities.
