Job summary

Toyota Material Handling UK is seeking a Fleet Support Co-ordinator to join the team on a maternity cover basis. The role supports the Sainsbury’s Partnership, coordinating fleet movements, handling enquiries, and delivering a first-class customer experience.

You will work with Fleet Managers and Contract Managers, produce quotes, and ensure accurate cost allocations while maintaining fleet records and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all Sainsbury’s short-term rental (STR) requirements and support fleet planning and day-to-day movements.
• Process incoming rental equipment requests according to procedures.
• Liaise with sales and transport to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Collaborate with Fleet and Contract Managers to deliver fleet solutions.
• Manage fleet transfers and equipment movements across the network.
• Provide accurate rental quotations verbally and in writing.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Arrange equipment deliveries and collections with cost allocation.
• Produce and maintain fleet records, reports and invoices.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Maintain a strong customer-first approach.
