Job summary

Volvo Group, including Renault Trucks, offers a fourteen-month apprenticeship programme focused on the full recruitment lifecycle. You will work on-site with a mentor within Renault Truck Commercials, joining a global group renowned for its leadership in sustainable transport.

Successful candidates will gain hands-on experience, training across business admin, CSRs, and recruiting activities, with clear progression to a Talent Acquisition role and a strong emphasis on development and networking.

Qualifications

• Pass level 4 English and Maths (or exemption).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Genuine desire to start a career in Recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Proactively source candidates for Dealership and Central Admin vacancies.
• Liaise with hiring managers regarding resource requirements.
• Develop advertising material for online adverts and marketing.
• Use databases, ads, social networks, referrals and events to attract candidates.
• Pre-screen candidates prior to interviews and schedule interviews.
• Produce KPIs on recruitment activity and costs.
• Ensure resourcing plans are managed and apprentices are inducted.

What you will do

This dedicated fourteen-month programme gives emphasis to the whole recruitment lifecycle from the 360 recruitment process to onboarding. Your time will be spent on site gaining on the job training under the guidance of a trained mentor. This role sits within the HR function of Renault Truck Commercials, part of Renault Trucks UK and the Volvo Group.

With the continued growth of the Renault Trucks product, winning awards and ongoing market launches of a wider Electric Truck and Van portfolio, being part of Renault Truck Commercials is an exciting place to be.

Requirements and prospects:

To complete the apprenticeship the employee must pass level 4 English and Maths (or have the appropriate exemption certificate) and be working towards this level prior to taking the end-point assessment for the apprenticeship.

Overview

• Pro-actively sourcing candidates for Dealership and Central Admin vacancies
• Liaising with hiring managers with regarding to resource requirements
• Develop advertising material for online adverts and any specific marketing
• Work with various mediums to attract candidates, including database searching, advertising, social networking, referrals and events
• Pre-screening of candidates prior to interview
• Support recruitment activities to including scheduling and planning interviews
• Produce KPI’s on recruitment activity and costs related to recruitment
• Ensure that resourcing plans are actively managed in line with the Global
• Ensure apprentice recruitment/intake each year is managed effectively and are inducted into our region effectively
• Any other duties that may be reasonably requested by your manager.
