Job summary

British Airways, operating BA Cityflyer, seeks a Fleet Performance Engineer to manage and develop the preventive maintenance programme for Embraer E190s and lead predictive maintenance activities. You will drive reliability, ensure safe and on-time operations, and deliver data-driven performance reports.

You will collaborate with Safety, Service, and Air Ops teams, provide technical guidance, and support shift coverage as needed while maintaining fleet health across UK and Europe operations.

Qualifications

• Formal licence and/or certification required.
• E190 type rating or equivalent role experience.
• Knowledge of Part-CAMO/Part-M/Part-145 requirements.
• Experience with technical services and airworthiness.
• Understanding of airline regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify maintenance tasks and schedules using multiple data sources.
• Communicate requirements to engineering teams using official work instructions.
• Develop and present operational and performance reports.
• Provide ad-hoc support to Maintrol team and troubleshoot complex issues.
