Job summary

BA Cityflyer Fleet Performance Engineer role within British Airways’ Maintenance Control Team focuses on the predictive maintenance programme for the Embraer E190 fleet, driving reliability and on-time performance across the network.

You will identify maintenance tasks from multiple data sources, communicate requirements to engineering teams, and develop performance reports to demonstrate dispatch reliability while supporting the Maintrol Team with troubleshooting and shift coverage.

Qualifications

• CAA Part-66 B1/B2 licence or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Type rating on Embraer E190 or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Part-CAMO, Part-M and Part-145 requirements.
• Experience in Technical Services and airworthiness context.
• Experience with airline operations and regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify maintenance tasks and outside or scheduled maintenance programme using multiple data sources.
• Communicate requirements to line and base engineering teams via Engineering Technical Requirements and work instructions.
• Develop, maintain and present operational and performance reports to demonstrate dispatch reliability.
• Support Maintrol Team with ad-hoc shift cover and troubleshooting of complex defects.
• Collaborate with Safety Service and Air Ops on review of Flight Data events and follow-up requirements.
