Job summary

Severn Trent is seeking a Fleet Operations Manager to lead a team of 6–8 and own day-to-day fleet performance. You will partner with stakeholders, drive demand planning, and ensure high service levels while managing costs and compliance across the fleet estate.

You will champion health and safety, DVSA standards, and regulatory targets, shaping processes and delivering proactive fleet management to support the business and communities Severn Trent serves.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing fleet or transport teams.
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Understanding of KPI targets and regulatory requirements related to Fleet operations.
• Knowledge of DVSA standards and health & safety regulations.
• Ability to audit processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Commercial awareness and cost-conscious mindset.
