Ernest Gordon Recruitment is assisting a growing engineering business in Uxbridge to recruit a Transport Manager (Fleet/Logistics). You will manage the transport function, support the team and help shape the department, liaising with senior management to improve processes and drive growth.

The role covers fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, compliance and driver management, audits and reporting, with ongoing career development and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Transport Manager with background in Fleet/Logistics or similar.
• Commutable to Uxbridge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vehicle maintenance, repairs and MOTs; PMI scheduling.
• Manage driver compliance and working hours; maintain safe driving standards.
• Support cost control across maintenance and vehicle damage.
• Produce operational reports and assist with audits and investigations.
