Ernest Gordon Recruitment is assisting a growing engineering business in Uxbridge to recruit a Transport Manager (Fleet/Logistics). You will manage the transport function, support the team and help shape the department, liaising with senior management to improve processes and drive growth.

The role covers fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, compliance and driver management, audits and reporting, with ongoing career development and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Transport Manager with background in Fleet/Logistics or similar.
• Commutable to Uxbridge.

• Manage driver compliance and working hours; maintain safe driving standards.

Transport Manager (Fleet/Logistics)

Are you a Transport Manager looking to join a growing engineering business in a newly created role where you will manage the transport function, support the team and help shape the department? You will work closely with senior management to improve processes and support the continued growth of the business.

On offer is the chance to join an employee-centred company with proven record of internal promotion. This multi-disciplinary company provide a range of Plant and Haulage services UK wide, They are currently expanding and opening a new divisions within the business.

In this role you will support the Transport Management team with daily fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, compliance and driver management, ensuring maximum fleet availability and safe, cost-effective operations. You will also assist with audits, reporting, accident investigations and compliance.

This role would suit a transport manager looking to join an expanding business, work closely with your peers in management in a role with ongoing career development.

The Role

• Manage driver compliance, working hours, infringements and safe driving standards.
