Job summary

Jobwise Ltd in Appleton, Warrington, is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to support drivers and the fleet, coordinating breakdowns, repairs and maintenance.

You will own fleet incidents end-to-end, liaising with suppliers and internal teams, keeping records up to date and ensuring compliance with procedures.

This full-time role offers 40 hours weekly, 4 on/4 off shifts 6:00am–6:00pm, temporary until year-end with potential longer-term opportunities, and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or fleet/logistics environments.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• GCSEs English and Maths advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate vehicle breakdowns, repairs and routine maintenance with external suppliers.
• Respond to driver calls and resolve fleet-related queries within agreed timescales.
• Assess reported vehicle defects and determine the appropriate course of action.
• Take ownership of fleet incidents, liaise with accident management providers and operations teams through to resolution.
• Update operations teams with repair progress and estimated completion times.
• Maintain accurate fleet records, including breakdowns, defects and purchase orders.
• Update and maintain the internal fleet management system.
• Ensure vehicle maintenance records are compliant with company procedures and legislative requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure agreed service levels are achieved.
• Complete incident escalation documentation where required.
• Support the wider Fleet Administration team, including holiday cover.
• Keep up to date with internal processes and operational updates.
