Job summary

JOBWISE is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to join a busy logistics operation in Appleton, Warrington. The role supports HGV drivers and the wider fleet, coordinating breakdowns, repairs and maintenance to keep a large fleet safe and efficient.

Successful candidates will have fleet administration or logistics experience, strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. A full UK driving licence and own vehicle are highly desirable due to the location and transport links.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, logistics or fleet administration.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organised with the ability to handle multiple priorities and details.
• GCSEs in English and Maths are advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence with own vehicle desirable due to location.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vehicle breakdowns, repairs and maintenance with external suppliers.
• Respond to driver calls and resolve fleet queries within set timescales.
• Assess vehicle defects and determine corrective actions.
• Own fleet incidents from start to finish with relevant teams.
• Update operations with repair progress and completion estimates.
• Maintain fleet records and purchase orders in the system.
