Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a Fleet Controller to join the established Fleet team, taking the lead in daily servicing, defects and breakdowns to ensure the smooth operation of our vehicle fleet across contracts.

You will liaise with vehicle suppliers to process orders in line with SLA's, manage service requests, update fleet systems and provide desk support as needed. We value teamwork and safety across our operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet management or vehicle operations.
• Strong problem solving and planning skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of workshop practices and charges is an advantage.
• Familiarity with fleet management software is desirable (Jaama Key2).

Responsibilities

Description

As a Fleet Controller, you will be part of an established Fleet team responsible for the daily management of the vehicle fleet for the company. You will take a lead in controlling the day to day servicing, defects & breakdowns of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities

You will liaise with Vehicle suppliers to ensure all orders are processed in line with agreed SLA’s

• You will handle vehicle service, defect and breakdown requests following company procedures and guidelines, ensuring minimal disruption to internal customers / contracts
• You will ensure SLA’s are achieved with minimum downtime
• You will investigate and respond to Internal customer / External Supplier Queries
• You will update fleet management systems
• You will assist in general fleet desk duties, providing support when needed for other aspects of the fleet department

Experience and Qualifications

• Problem solving abilities
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Knowledge of workshop practices and charges is an advantage
• Industry knowledge of light & heavy commercial vehicle industry
• Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills
• Enthusiastic and proactive approach to your work
• Must recognise the importance of working as part of a team to deliver service and operational performance within a safe working environment
• IT skills, Microsoft Word and Excel would be an advantage
• Previous experience of fleet management software packages would be an advantage (Jaama Key2 in particular)
