Job summary

Culina is seeking a Transport Compliance Supervisor to join our Contract Logistics division on a full-time permanent basis. You will ensure all vehicles are compliant and roadworthy, driving best practice and driver training across the fleet.

The role covers managing compliance events, reporting on fleet status, and ensuring timely documentation and escalations. Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, with a salary of £30,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of commercial vehicle and ancillary equipment, compliance requirements.
• Experience in managing commercial vehicle compliance, scheduling, booking and managing slippage.
• Proven team worker with drive and a can-do mindset, supportive of colleagues.
• Experience in customer-facing roles or direct customer interaction.
• Highly organised with ability to manage multiple work streams.
• Knowledge of the sector and relevant operational practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage compliance activity for the depot, ensuring events are booked in line with company’s compliance objectives, chase each booking is completed thoroughly and escalations carried out.
• Provide daily/weekly reports relating to compliance status of the fleet.
• Complete follow up activities to ensure vehicle arrival at vendor or attendance by mobile engineer and handle no-shows.
• Update systems with accurate details and monitor progress.
• Chase and obtain correct documentation within required timeframes and provide documents for vehicles/assets.
• Support other team members when required within the wider team remit.
• Track service provider performance and conduct quarterly reviews with main providers.
