Job summary

Murphy is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee Murphy Plant in Ollerton. You will manage a 15-vehicle fleet, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive driver development in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have logistics experience, transport regulatory knowledge, and strong proficiency with MS Office, aiming to support safe, efficient plant hire operations across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Must have previous logistics experience.
• Extensive knowledge of transport regulations.
• Experience in a construction/engineering background is beneficial.
• Literate and numerate; proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and other office apps.

Responsibilities

• Management of a 15-vehicle fleet.
• Ensure drivers comply with hours, tachograph rules and speed limits.
• Maintain vehicles including PMIs and repair defects.
• Manage vehicle and driver defects.
• Ensure records are kept for 15 months or longer.
• Ensure ADR Regulations compliance.
• Monitor the DVSA OCRS system.
• Investigate DVSA roadside checks.
• Utilise the vehicle tracker system for HGV driver control.
• Stay updated with transport legislation and training requirements.
• Plan development of HGV drivers via CPC training.
• Report Health & Safety incidents per Group expectations.
