Murphy Plant in Ollerton is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee a 15-vehicle fleet and ensure compliance with transport regulations. You will drive safe, efficient operations and maintain accurate records while developing talent within the team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage a 15-vehicle fleet.
• Ensure drivers comply with hours, tachograph rules and speed limits.
• Ensure vehicle maintenance, PMIs and defects are addressed.
• Maintain records for 15 months or more.
• Ensure ADR compliance and monitor OCRS.
• Investigate DVSA roadside checks and use vehicle tracker system.
• Keep up to date with transport legislation and CPC training planning.
• Report Health & Safety incidents per Group expectations.

Murphy is recruiting for a Logistics Supervisor to work with Murphy Plant at Murphy Plant in Ollerton.

As a Logistics supervisor, you will be a key member of our team, playing an integral part in the success of the business. A day in the life of a Murphy Logistics Supervisor

• Management of a 15-vehicle fleet
• Ensure that drivers comply with drivers’ hours and tachograph rules and with speed limits.
• Ensure that vehicles are maintained, including PMIs and defects remedied
• Management of vehicle and driver defects
• Ensure all records are accurate and kept for a period of no less than 15 months.
• Ensure compliance with ADR Regulations
• Monitor the DVSA Operator Compliance Risk Score (OCRS) system
• Investigate all road-side checks by DVSA
• Utilise the company vehicle tracker system for the control of HGV Drivers.
• Keep up to date with changes to transport legislation, attending relevant training as required.
• Plan the development of HGV drivers through periodic driver CPC training.
• Ensure reporting of Health & Safety incidents in line with Group expectations.
