Job summary

Adler and Allan Group is seeking a Fleet Compliance Manager to lead operator licensing, vehicle maintenance, and driver hours compliance across depots. The role includes audits, reporting, and driving continuous improvement initiatives with senior leaders and CPC holders.

The successful candidate will monitor RTD performance, manage roadworthiness reporting, and deliver transport-related insights to support regulatory adherence and cost efficiencies across the UK network.

Qualifications

• CPC National/International required.
• Significant experience managing HGV fleets at senior level.
• Knowledge of ADR.
• Ability to communicate with all staff and leaders.
• Ability to produce bespoke reports.
• Experience with continuous improvement techniques and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Ensure EU/domestic drivers hours records are maintained at all depots, including sign-off of infringements and manual entries.
• Monitor/divisional RTD performance and highlight actions with CPC holders.
• Develop and monitor defect reporting systems for roadworthiness and timely rectification.
• Create, roll-out and maintain spot check routines for depot locations.
• Maintain relationships with maintenance providers to ensure regulatory compliance and cost-effective improvements.
• Distribute OCRS monthly highlights to senior leadership and coordinate remedial actions.
• Monitor fuel card usage aligned with company procedures.
• Track asset availability, usage and location; audit assets.
• Work with SHEQ/Quality to deliver internal compliance audits across operator licensing.
• Support depots with asset management, location tracking and vehicle maintenance.
