Job description

Two permanent posts sit in the Fleet Services Team at Westmorland and Furness Council, which keeps a mixed fleet of around 450 vehicles and over 1,000 plant items safe and legal. Post-holders deliver driver and vehicle training in person, online, in vehicles and in the classroom, and check that vehicles and drivers meet the relevant legislation and guidance. The small team suits a current training or compliance officer wanting to widen their skills, or a local authority candidate seeking to progress.
