Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a Fleet Base Shunter / Fleet HGV Driver in Chalgrove to join our client’s fleet operations. You will move HGVs safely, position for servicing, and support fleet availability in a varied, hands-on role.

The role requires a Category C/C+E licence, Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card, with ongoing training and clear progression opportunities in a modern fleet environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold Category C or C+E/HGV licence.
• Driver CPC qualification is required.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Move HGVs and fleet vehicles safely around the site and local areas.
• Position vehicles for servicing, maintenance, inspections, and operational use.
• Complete vehicle checks and report defects.
• Support fleet management activities and vehicle availability.
• Ensure compliance with transport legislation and health & safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and vehicle documentation where required.
