Zachary Daniels is recruiting a General Store Manager for a flagship UK store. You will lead a sizeable management and colleague population, owning store sales, profitability, productivity and customer experience.

The role requires a resilient, commercially focused leader who can drive performance in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for operational standards, people development and delivering strategic initiatives with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Experienced General Store Manager with a proven track record in a high-volume retail environment.
• Experience leading large teams and complex retail operations.
• Strong commercial and P&L experience with a track record of delivering results.
• Resilience and pace to thrive in a demanding, fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and develop a large management and colleague team.
• Take full ownership of store sales, profitability, productivity and key KPIs.
• Drive operational excellence across stock, availability, compliance, health & safety and customer experience.
• Build a high-performance culture through coaching, accountability and succession planning.
• Analyse performance and use data to identify opportunities and drive results.
• Manage labour, payroll and operational costs effectively.
• Lead through change and maintain standards during periods of high volume and intense trading.
• Partner with senior leadership to deliver strategic initiatives and wider business objectives.
