Job summary

Zachary Daniels partners with a leading UK retailer to recruit a General Store Manager for a flagship High Wycombe store. You will own the store, lead a sizeable team and drive sales, profitability and a superior customer experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

We are seeking a resilient, commercial leader with the presence to manage complexity, make decisive decisions and deliver results while maintaining high standards across operations, people development and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large teams in high-volume retail.
• Strong commercial acumen with P&L responsibilities.
• Ability to drive customer experience and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and develop a large management and colleague team.
• Take full ownership of store sales, profitability and KPIs.
• Drive operational excellence across stock, availability, compliance, health & safety and customer experience.
• Build a high-performance culture through coaching and succession planning.
• Analyze performance and use data to identify opportunities and drive results.
• Manage labour, payroll and operational costs effectively.
• Lead through change during high volume and busy trading periods.
• Partner with senior leadership to deliver strategic initiatives.
