Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Store Manager or Branch Manager in builders' merchants or high-volume retail.
• Strong leadership with ability to manage large teams and drive performance.
• Excellent commercial acumen with data interpretation skills.
• Customer-focused with emphasis on service standards.

Responsibilities

• Full leadership accountability for a large department within a flagship branch.
• Drive sales, margin and profit through execution and customer experience.
• Coach and develop managers and departmental teams.
• Maintain a service-led, trade-focused culture with high standards.
• Own departmental KPIs, budgets and performance.
• Ensure a safe and compliant trading environment.
• Represent the business as a senior ambassador within the branch.
