Job summary

PA Housing is seeking a Neighbourhood Coordinator on a fixed-term contract to end March 2027. The role covers Walton On Thames, Wadebridge, West Molesey, Elmbridge with around 80% remote work and occasional evenings in Luton; travel requires own car.

You’ll engage with residents, partners, and local services to improve services, lead community initiatives, and support tenant satisfaction measures. It’s about building safe, welcoming neighbourhoods and ensuring residents have their say.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles and putting people first.
• Ability to manage diaries, deadlines and multiple tasks.
• Strong planning skills for projects, meetings and busy days.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes and manage competing demands.
• Confident communication across face-to-face, email and partners.
• Ability to connect with a diverse range of residents and stakeholders.

• Engage with residents in your neighbourhood to build relationships with partners.
• Shape and grow community engagement activities with opportunities for involvement.
• Build trust with residents and ensure their views influence services.
• Create inclusive, welcoming neighbourhoods that are built to last.
• Take a people-first approach and understand individual needs with the wider team.
• Keep residents informed using social media, websites, noticeboards or chats.
• Support Tenant Satisfaction Measures and feedback loops.
• Lead the You and Your Neighbourhood campaign for resident feedback.
