Job summary

The Lowry Hotel is seeking a Painter and Decorator to join our Maintenance Team in Manchester. The role focuses on painting and decorating, maintaining guest bedrooms and public areas to five‑star standards, and supporting preventative and reactive maintenance across the hotel.

You will work on a shift basis, including weekends, with opportunities for training and development. The role requires a good eye for detail and pride in delivering exceptional service in a luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in painting and decorating to high standards.
• Ability to carry out maintenance tasks as required.
• Comfort working in a five‑star hotel environment with privacy.
• Willing to work on weekends and shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Paint and decorate guest bedrooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Support preventative and reactive repairs in maintenance.
• Respond to and prioritise maintenance requests.
• Maintain appearance to high standards across the hotel.
