Job summary

Avisford Park Hotel is seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator for a fixed term of 3 months. The role involves painting, wallpapering and general decorative maintenance across guest areas and back-of-house spaces.

Working on the night shift (10pm-6:30am), you will report to the Maintenance Manager and help keep the listed building in excellent condition, blending quality craftsmanship with strong health and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a painter & decorator, preferably in a hospitality or commercial setting.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, wallpaper application, and surface preparation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and high standards of craftsmanship.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Painting, wallpapering, and general decorative maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Maintain the hotel's appearance and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Work with Maintenance Manager and team to deliver a great guest experience.
