Job summary

Avisford Park Hotel is seeking a Painter & Decorator for a fixed-term 3-month contract, working the night shift 10pm–6:30am. You will maintain and enhance the hotel's appearance across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces, collaborating with the Maintenance Manager and team.

The role requires proven painting and decorating experience, knowledge of techniques, attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and compliance with Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a painter & decorator, preferably in hospitality or commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, wallpaper application and surface preparation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and high standards of craftsmanship.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Paint, wallpaper, and perform decorative maintenance across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces.
• Maintain high presentation and ambiance to enhance guest experience.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Manager and team to ensure tasks meet health & safety requirements.
