Job summary

Great Fosters Hotel, part of the Alexander Hotels collection, is seeking a Casual Concierge to welcome guests at the main entrance and support the Front of House team. You will be the first and last point of contact for guests, ensuring a five-star guest experience through a warm, professional presence and proactive assistance.

Role involves shifts between 7am and 11pm, including weekends, with tasks ranging from greeting guests to coordinating luggage, guiding around the property, and arranging

Qualifications

• Excellent personal appearance and host presence at the main entrance.
• Excellent verbal communication – confident, relaxed and friendly.
• Bright, warm and friendly disposition with genuine guest service mindset.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends.
• Own transport to cover hours outside public transport.

Responsibilities

• Welcome arriving and departing guests at the main entrance.
• Assist guests with luggage and direct them to reception or facilities.
• Show guests around the hotel and explain facilities to non-residents or event attendees.
• Answer guest queries and provide information on hotel services and local area.
• Arrange taxis, train times, car rentals and theatre tickets as requested.
• Coordinate with Reception and Guest Services Managers to fulfill guest requests.
• Identify VIPs and return guests and acknowledge special occasions.
