Job summary

Howco Group in Bredbury, Stockport, UK, is seeking an Assembly & Test Fitter to perform in-house assembly and testing in line with customer specifications.

You will interpret engineering drawings, assemble components, perform pressure testing, and maintain HSE procedures with attention to detail and adaptability to change. Crane and slinging experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Crane and slinging experience.
• Pressure testing experience would be desirable.

Role Requirements

To perform in-house Assembly & Test as required by the various customer specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities

Interpret engineering drawings & specifications.

Assemble components in line with customer / Company specifications and procedures.

Bending and threading of light bore hydraulic tubing to customer Schematic drawings.

Pressure testing in line with specifications.

Maintaining and promoting Health and Safety procedures.

Accuracy and attention to detail.

Flexible and adaptable to change.

Problem solving abilities.

Accountabilities and Performance Measures

Working in line with company Quality & HSE procedures.

Working with scheduled allocated hours.

Maintain a high level of housekeeping and follow the 5S program.
